BJ&K's Employee benefits
Health Insurance: Full time, salaried employees are offered a health insurance package through a top rated insurance company. BJ&K will pay this premium in full for each employee. Employees are responsible for paying for their dependents.
Dental Insurance: Full time, salaried employees are offered a "no charge" basic services and discounted services dental plan through a top rated insurance company. BJ&K pays this premium in full for each employee. Employees are responsible for paying for their dependents.
Cafeteria Plan: This plan allows for payment of the cost of dependent health and dental insurance, out-of-pocket medical expenses, and dependent care expenses with "before-tax" money. Under this plan, full time salaried employees are allowed to redirect a portion of their taxable salary to an account for reimbursement. Any amounts that are elected to redirect are not subject to federal withholding or FICA taxes.
Profit Sharing & 401-k Plan: This is an employer-sponsored plan in which salary employees become eligible after they have completed one year of employment with BJ&K Construction. Under this plan, employees can elect to defer a percentage of their salary, free from federal income taxes, for retirement. BJ&K Construction will match or contribute to the employee's account 50% of the first 4% of salary that the employee elects to defer.
Paid Vacation: BJ&K Construction offers a full weeks paid vacation to all salaried employees after their first year with the company.
